FEBRUARY 2010

Iberprecis S.L. as one of the first Spanish companies in offering the services of “Industrial metrology applying computerized tomography” will participate in 2009 and 2010 in the research project ALEXANDRIA.
 
ALEXANDRIA is a strategic project, which is subsidised by the Ministry for Science and Innovation. The target of the project is to develop new technologies for the verification and industrial metrology for the aircraft, railway, navy and wind-energy industry.

There are more than 25 companies, universities and technological centres participating in the project, which is subdivided in the following 4 subprojects: HIPARCO, ARISTARCO, ERATÓSTENES and HIPATIA. Iberprecis collaborates in the subproject HIPARCO, which investigates “the verification and calibration in the industrial metrology without contact”.
 
The computerized tomography applied to the industrial metrology is still under way and widely unknown in Spain. The collaboration of Iberprecis in the project ALEXANDRIA will be of great impulse for this new technology.

DECEMBER 2009

The quality manager of IberPrecis S.L. was trained as an aerospace auditor according to the Standard EN-9100.

SEPTEMBER 2009:

 
The laboratory manager of IberPrecis S.L. was trained in the third and maximal level of AUKOM e.V.

 
AUKOM e.V. (Ausbildung in Koordinatenmesstechnik e.V.) is a training of german origin specifically for coordinate metrology, divided in 3 levels.

1. Certified CMM User Training,

2. Geometrical and Sheet Metal Measurement,

3. Certified CMM expert Training.

In Spain it is only possible to obtain training up to the level 2. The 3 level is only trained in Germany

IberPrecis in collaboration with Carl Zeiss and the University of Zaragoza participates in the congress LANDAMAP, 9º International conference 2009 (www.lamdamap.com). .

JUNE 2009

Iber Precis collaborates with the CIAIAC of the Ministry for Development in the investigation of a plane crash. Used technique for the investigation: Industrial Tomography.

MAY 2009

Iber Precis S.L. with the continuously compromise to improve and the aim to diversify in target markets, has been recently accredited in EN 9100.

The Certification EN-9100 is a requirement for the suppliers of the Aeronautic Sector.

This norm stresses the quality, security and technology in all areas of supply chain. It’s a fundamental application for the civil as well as for the military sector and with this accreditation IberPrecis will be able to enter the aeronautic sector. IberPrecis is the first supplier in Zaragoza and the third in Aragon with this norm.

The attesting company was TÜV-Rheinland. We are sure that our effort to obtain this certification will enable us to give our clients a better service in quality and reliability.

FEBRUARY 2009

IberPrecis signs agreement for the national market with Carl Zeiss as Business Partner for services in 3D measuring and Metrotomography (Measuring and Internal Inspection by X-RAY).

JANUARY 2009

IberPrecis signs agreement for collaboration with the German company “Volume Graphics”, which specialises in the development of software for Industrial Tomography.

2. FAIR INTERPART 2008

INTERPART, the industrial subcontracting show for precision parts for the automotive and machine construction industries, is taking place in Karlsruhe/ Germany, on 03 - 05 June 2008.

3. FAIR ELMIA SUBCONTRACTOR 2008

ELMIA SUBCONTRACTOR is northern Europe's leading trade show for subcontractor to the manufacturing industry. ELMIA is taking place in Jönköping/ Sweden, on 11 - 14 November 2008.

MIDDEST

In November 2006 IBERPRECIS SL exhibited at the industrial subcontracting show "Midest" in Paris. It was the 36. edition of Midest, one of Europe's most important industrial subcontracting shows.
